There are times when just buying production flies from a local shop will work just fine - if the rivers you will be fishing are running with "average" flows, and all the pools are of "average" depth, and, well... you get the point.

The problem is, rivers aren't "cookie cutter", and your flies shouldn't be either.

Jed will work with you to tie flies that will fish well in the conditions you are likely to encounter - taking into consideration the river, season, water levels and flow rates - so that the fly you present can get to the right level in the water column, with the right color and movement to entice a strike... The rest is up to you!!
